All profits from the fair are donated to our chosen charities

Last year Sobell House Hospice cared for 2/3rds of the people who died in Oxfordshire and also supported their families. Sobell House Hospice costs approx. £9 million per year to run its core services and through their community fundraising they are able to provide a variety of services including specialist, compassionate nursing care, bereavment support and music and art therapy.

WHCT established the Watlington Nursing Home on the site of the former Watlington Hospital which closed in 2000. Raising over £2 million to purchase the site and appointing Sanctuary Care, the 60 bed purpose built home was opened in 2004. Since then the Trust has continued to raise funds for the care home which provides high quality care services to the local community including nursing, dementia, residential, palliative, respite and end-of-life care and has a CQC rating of Outstanding.
